Mrs. Irene Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is an established entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in public health. She completed her first degree in Mental Health Nursing at the Birmingham City University and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Essex, both in the UK.

Mrs. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is a health enthusiast with particular interest in mental health. She also finds fulfilment in the pursuit of humanitarian work. Currently, she is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kess World Group and Founding President of the Sompahemaa Foundation. The Foundation is a Non- Governmental Organisation (NGO) established to extend medical aid to deprived communities in the country. It has, over the years, organised medical outreaches in various communities including Bremang, Suame, Berekusu, and in prisons such as the Kumasi Central Prisons and Nsawam Prisons.                                  

Her hobbies are singing and dancing. She is married with three children, though she mothers a countless number of adopted children as well. She finds so much fulfilment in putting smiles on the faces of people.
